WHY VERENA?
Verena was born from a simple but powerful desire — to create scarves that feel as beautiful as they look.
As a hijabi, I understand that a scarf is more than just fabric. It is part of our identity, our confidence. Yet finding scarves that are truly soft, lightweight, breathable, and comfortable for all-day wear was often a challenge. Too heavy. Too stiff. Too uncomfortable.
I knew there had to be something better.
That’s why Verena was created — to design scarves that offer a weightless, effortless comfort experience without compromising on elegance. Every piece is thoughtfully made to move with you, to feel gentle on your skin, and to give you confidence throughout your day.
The name Verena represents strength, protection, and feminine power. It reflects the heart of our brand — celebrating every woman and her right to express herself freely. Verena is not just about scarves; it is about embracing individuality, honoring identity, and creating space for women to feel empowered in their own skin.
We also believe that true beauty begins with integrity. That’s why our scarves are ethically crafted, made with care, and thoughtfully produced in Pakistan, supporting skilled artisans and responsible practices.
ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Salam Everyone,
I am Hamna, Founder and Creative Director of Verena. As a fashion designer and a graduate of the Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design (PIFD), my journey in fashion has always been guided by purpose, intention, and faith. I also had the privilege of refining my craft through a workshop at École de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne in Paris, an experience that deepened my understanding of craftsmanship and design excellence.
At my core, I believe in living with a simple heart and leading a life rooted in meaning. For me, success has never been solely about building a brand — it has always been about creating something purposeful and value-driven. Verena was founded upon that belief.
I envisioned a brand that reflects dignity, integrity, and strength — not only in its designs, but in its spirit. A brand that represents modesty with confidence and carries a sense of unity and grace.
Throughout this journey, I pray that, Insha’Allah, my work with Verena continues to strengthen my connection with Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta'ala). Every blessing, every idea, and every opportunity is a gift from Him. I believe true success lies not only in growth and recognition, but in sincerity of intention, gratitude, and trust in His divine plan.
